Service providers are required to provide in real time the best available caller location to the Emergency Call Answer Service (ECAs) or Public Safety Answering Point (PSAPs), whom in turn will take this information and use it to reduce response times which have a huge impact on the safety of citizens.
Our LBS Emergency Calls Location Platform, automatically gets accurate caller location and send it in real time to the Emergency Services.
It supports all applicable 3GPP emergency call flows including GSM and UMTS circuit-switched, IMS VoLTE, IMS VoNR, and IMS VoWiFi emergency calls/sessions.
The solution can handle both the ‘push’ mechanism where the location of the caller is received by the PSAP with all calls with no delay and the ‘pull’ mechanism where the PSAP operator asks for the location, if needed. In this case, caller location is provided upon specific request by the call handler authorized system.
Main Features
- Support all location technologies: Such as different versions of Cell-Id, Enhanced Cell-Id, Assisted GNSS (AGPS), Triangulation Methods (OTDOA), WiFi and Hybrid location for GSM, UMTS, LTE, 5G and IMS networks. The supported location technologies include capabilities over control-plane and user-plane.
- Advanced Mobile Location (AML) Gateway: We leverage accurate network-based location technologies together with handset-based location techniques like AML, available in all Android and iOS devices worldwide.
- Routing Determination Function (RDF):< Required as a Application Server in IMS Core handled emergency calls to determine the proper ECA/PSAP to route the call.
- CAD System Integration: Our solution covers APIs for a smooth CAD System integration using standardized location protocols.
