Cell Broadcast Center (CBC)

Our Cell Broadcast Center is a next generation Cellular Broadcast System that is compliant with emergency notification standards and compatible with any cellular network. Hacom Cell Broadcast Center is a proven solution, with Tier 1 mobile operator references and multi-network national deployments.

It is a location-based mobile network service that delivers messages to all phones connected to a cell or group of cells and can cover the entire network. It is defined by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) and 3GPP.

The solution enables immediate message delivery to all mobile devices in the targeted zone, even when networks are congested. This type of cellular transmission is not restricted by network traffic loads as the system is designed to operate during a disaster (earthquake or tsunami, for example), when traffic peaks can congest mobile networks. This ensures the successful delivery of messages to millions of people at critical times.

Reach Millions in Seconds

Our Platform encompasses a Cell Broadcast Centre (CBC) that is deployed in the mobile network to handle the distribution of the message as well as a Cell Broadcast Entity (CBE) that manages the message to be broadcast.

Our CBC is powerful and reliable, supporting 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G network technologies. It manages the sending of a message received from the CBE, directs it to the target cells through the RAN and implements the interfaces that connect to the RAN controllers.

It includes a sophisticated Alert and Messaging Management System with tools to manage multi-source incoming alerts and options to create messages for multiple destinations. It controls and manages the message to be sent, including its format, destination, and schedule.
